On July 11 and 12, the new maintenance workshop at the Mantes-la-Jolie maintenance facility reached a major milestone with the energizing of the overhead catenary line and the commissioning of the signaling control center, in its “phase 4C” configuration.
A few days later, on July 15, the first New Generation RER made its entrance into the workshop, marking the start of infrastructure testing ahead of the commercial launch of Line E in 2027.
Behind these first images lie several years of studies, design, construction, adaptations and coordination among numerous stakeholders.
A new milestone that brings to fruition the work undertaken over several years by the teams at Setec and JFS Architectes, mobilized alongside the project owner and the project’s various partners.
A fine collective achievement and a new milestone reached on the way to EOLE 2027.
