Extension of Terminal 3 at CDG Airport

The transformation of Terminal 3 at Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport delivers a restrained, compact and contemporary architecture, designed in continuity with the existing facilities. The project is structured around a new pier, a nodal building dedicated to retail and services, and the extension of the arrivals building. The nodal building forms the heart of the scheme, ensuring the convergence of flows and clear wayfinding. The pier follows a functional, modular logic, as close as possible to the aircraft stands. The architectural language combines natural light, solar protection and durable materials as part of a frugal, bioclimatic approach. Designed to support the airport’s future developments, the project ultimately prioritises flexibility, reuse and disassembly.
