Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport terminal extension
The project proposes a harmonious architectural extension, in continuity with the existing terminal. The new volumes are inspired by the geometry of the current building’s pyramidal vaults, reinterpreted in a contemporary architectural language.
The parking areas are fully integrated into the overall composition, with vegetated interstices promoting natural light, views, and climatic comfort.

The project also redesigns access by separating vehicle flows from pedestrian paths. A vast landscaped plaza, designed as a multimodal transport hub connecting train, bus, and taxis, structures the terminal’s surroundings. A tree-lined boulevard and a glass walkway ensure a smooth and pleasant pedestrian route.
The whole creates a functional, scalable infrastructure integrated into its environment, placing the landscape and passenger comfort at the heart of the project.
